  1. Does it support streaming apps? How’s the performance?

A: The dorpo UHD Media player system is deeply customized based on Android 11, supporting installation of various third-party streaming apps. Simply open the “Essential Apps” section for one-click installation or download what ever you need from app store.

  1. Is there an app store? How to install third-party apps?

A: The dorpo UHD Media player system includes an “Essential Apps” section featuring recommended third-party apps like Aptoide TV. Just click the app icon for quick installation.

  1. Does it support poster wall?

A: Yes. The dorpo UHD Media player features a self-developed multi-format video player with robust metadata scraping for movie posters and rich categorization options.

  1. Supported video formats?

A: Video codecs: AVS2/3, H.265/HEVC, AV1, H.264/AVC, VP9, MPEG-1/2/4, VC-1, VP8, H.263, WMV8/9, VP6, AVS/AVS+, Real8/9/10. Supports 8K/60fps 10bit decoding for H.265/AV1/VP9/AVS3/AVS2. Container formats: BDMV, ISO, MKV, M2TS, MTS, TS, MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, MPG, MPEG, VOB, FLV, 3GP, TP, etc.

  1. Supported audio formats/passthrough?

A: Dolby & DTS certified. Supports decoding/passthrough for: Dolby Digital/Dolby Digital Plus/DTS TrueHD/Dolby Atmos, DTS/ES/HR/HD MA/X, PCM 5.1.

  1. Frame rate adaptation?

A: Yes. In passthrough mode, outputs native resolutions/framerates including precise 23.976/29.97/59.94fps.

A: DSD (DFF/DSF), FLAC, WAV, APE, DTS with CUE sheet support.

A: Currently supports DLNA. Miracast coming via firmware update.

A: dorpo UHD Media player natively decodes 8K60 while downscaling 4K120. Includes 4K→8K upscaling.
