Building on the phenomenal video performance of the UHP-3001, the UHP-3003SE features a dual independent power supply, combining a linear power supply dedicated for the analogue circuits with a switching power supply for the digital operations, eliminating cross talk between the two circuits. Additional power regulation is taken care of thanks to 12 x Rubycon electrolytic capacitors that form a filter array to suppress unwanted noise entering the system.
In addition, the UHP-3003 SE’s dedicated HDMI audio output is equipped with an independent clock reconstruction circuit and upgraded with a custom TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator) – far superior in precision and stability. to ordinary crystals. The result is perfectly synchronised HDMI digital audio output, reshaping a clear and three dimensional soundstage.
