High-Performance Linear Power Supply + Low-Noise Switching Power Supply

The DMP-A1 implements a dual power supply design by combining a high-performance linear power supply with a low-noise switching power supply. The low-noise regulated power module primarily supplies digital circuits, while the professional linear power supply is specifically designed for analog circuits, providing smaller ripple and interference to ensure purer power for audio circuits, a quieter background, and superior sound clarity. Additionally, the entire power module features fully-enclosed metal shielding to effectively isolate interference between power and signal circuits.

The DMP-A1 utilises ESS’s latest flagship ES9039S Pro DAC chip, renowned as an industry performance benchmark. With lower total harmonic distortion levels, it ensures minimal noise and distortion, delivering extraordinary musical quality with an engaging and fatigue-free sound reproduction – providing you with an authentic high-fidelity music experience.

The DMP-A1 employs the third-generation XMOS 316 audio processor, featuring higher processing speeds and increased USB bandwidth to guarantee lossless transmission of high-definition audio data. The USB interface supports up to DSD512 Native, PCM768@32bit formats, and full MQA decoding. Optical and coaxial ports also support DSD64 (DoP) and PCM192@24Bit.

The DMP-A1’s audio clock section adopts a low-jitter, high-precision dual-clock design. Two high-precision crystal oscillators (45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz) respectively manage 44.1KHz and 48KHz multiple sampling frequencies, effectively reducing jitter for more accurate audio decoding.

The DMP-A1‘s analog audio circuit adopts a fully balanced amplification architecture. From DAC to all analog output ports (XLR, RCA, headphones), signals are processed through fully balanced differential amplification circuits, eliminating common ground crosstalk, improving channel separation, and providing better noise immunity to prevent unwanted noise generation. To avoid potential signal interference when using RCA and XLR outputs simultaneously, independent output selection is supported to ensure higher audio specifications and better sound quality. The fully balanced preamp circuit supports refined preamp volume adjustment without requiring additional external preamplifiers.

The DMP-A1‘s analog output circuit employs meticulously selected premium components from around the world to achieve monitor-grade audiophile sound quality. No expense was spared to deliver purer, more authentic sound reproduction.

The dp File Manager supports massive local storage, network-attached NAS, and various cloud storage mounts for access and management. It enables flexible file operations such as edit, copy, paste, delete, and favourites, delivering an efficient and user-friendly file management experience.
